A LIMITED edition bronze sculpture was stolen from a Harpenden shop on Tuesday. (28)

Police are appealing for information about the small bronze piece entitled Alert Hare which was taken from a shop in Bowers Parade.

It is just one of 250 and is engraved with the number 18 but whoever took it left behind the certificate of authenticity.

Harpenden Safer Neighbourhood Officer, Pc Andrew Yuill, urged anyone recognising the description of the missing sculpture or knowing of its whereabouts to contact the non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
