Police were called to a house in How Wood, just off Park Street Lane, this morning (4) at about 7.40am after a resident discovered damage to the property.

The lock from a side door of the house was removed at some point after 10pm yesterday, but nobody entered the home.

Anyone who saw anything unusual in the area or has any information can contact Herts Police on the non-emergency number 101.
