A MOTORBIKE was set on fire by an arsonist while it was parked overnight.

Firefighters from St Albans were called to London Colney High Street at around 2.30am this morning (Friday). The securely locked bike was well alight but the flames were put out within minutes.

A spokesperson for Herts Police said that the culprit was believed to have set fire to the green-and-blue Honda motorbike before fleeing the scene.
