Voters in St Albans and Harpenden will head to the polls today to cast their votes in an all out election - but what did the council look like ahead of the vote?

The council is currently controlled by the Liberal Democrats, who have been at the helm since the local elections in 2021.

Following by-elections in 2023, there are currently 48 Liberal Democrat councillors, four Conservative, three Green and one Independent councillor on the council.
