Opportunities and Benefits with Archant

Childcare Vouchers: Employees may sacrifice part of their salary and receive childcare vouchers to the same value, free of National Insurance and tax, which can be used to pay for childcare provided by any registered childcare provider.

Holidays: Full time employees will receive 25 days paid holiday entitlement per annum (pro rata for part time employees) in addition to statutory bank holidays.

Long Service Award: Archant currently offers a gift to the value of £500 on the completion of 25 years' service.

Retirement Gift: Employees are entitled to a gift in relation to their length of service upon retirement.

Staff Discounts: Subscription discounts are available on a range of Archant's magazines and some centres have also negotiated local discounts and benefits.

Westfield Health Scheme: A cash plan health insurance scheme is available to all Archant employees. Different levels of cover are available to suit your family, lifestyle and health needs and premiums are deducted from your monthly pay.

Pension Plan: Archant offers a contributory money purchase plan, the Archant Pension Plan (APP). All employees may join the APP on the first day of the month following commencement of employment and eligible employees will be auto- enrolled under Workplace Savings legislations after two months's employment. BlackRock are the administrators of the APP.

Life Assurance: All Employees are covered for a minimum lump sum life assurance of three times salary.

On June 2 2016 we published an article called ‘Have planners been manipulated over unauthorised homes scheme?’ It alleged that Michael Rubinow, a property developer who is based in Hertfordshire, had built an unauthorised development of 18 apartments and a shop in Goldring Way, London Colney, without planning permission. It also suggested that he had manipulated the district council’s planning department.
