SIR - May I thank everybody who came to my assistance when I collapsed in Sainsbury's on Tuesday, February 10.

The staff who were brilliant, the ambulance staff and the paramedic - whose name I think was Harry - were all quite superb. Also customers who showed concern. My final thanks to Sainsbury's for the beautiful bunch of flowers. I am now feeling much better. Once again, many thanks to all.
