In the Philosopher’s Stone Harry, Hermione and Ron run across the field to Hagrid's hut, Harry says a few lines ending with "... why didn't I see it before?" Hermione is mouthing Harry's lines with him.

 

The snake that Harry talks to at the zoo in the Philosopher’s Stone blinks. Snakes don't have eyelids – meaning they don’t blink.

 

 

When Uncle Vernon is ripping up the letters in the Philosopher’s Stone the envelopes have already been cut, making it easier for him to rip up.

 

 

When Harry buys his wand at Ollivander's you can clearly see the reflection of a camera in the window.

 

 

When Dumbledore is awarding Neville 10 points in the Philosopher’s Stone, you can see the plastic used to make Neville's ears stick out.

 

 

When Ron gets drooled on by Fluffy in the Philosopher’s Stone two shots later he's completely dry.

 

 

Harry is wearing his invisibility cloak in the Philosopher’s Stone when he spies on Snape bullying Quirrell - the shots are filmed from Harry's point of view with him at eye level with the adults even though he is clearly shorter than they are.

 

Hogwarts students reach the train by going through platform no. 9¾, which is secretly located in the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. In reality, platforms 9 and 10 are in separate buildings, and there is no barrier between them, but railway tracks.

 

Dudley eats Harry's birthday cake with his hands in the Philosopher’s Stone, but when he turns around, after Hagrid has given him a pig tail, there is no cake or icing on his hands or face.

 

After Harry gets sorted into Gryffindor he goes and sits down next to Ron with Hermione across from him who is sitting next to Percy. In the next shot when Harry asks who’s that teacher next to Proffesor Quirrell he asks Percy and Hermione is sitting to the right of him and Ron is across from him.

 

When Harry breaks his right arm playing Quidditch in the Chamber of Secrets, he takes great care to keep it held up as he rolls from side to side to avoid the bludger, but at one point he puts his weight on it without any apparent pain.

 

During the Quidditch match in the Chamber of Secrets, the wire that attaches the broom to Harry is visible for several seconds.

 

 

When Ron receives the "Howler" from his mother in the Chamber of Secrets you can see that the red envelope is open - as Ron removes it from Errol's mouth Ron breaks the seal on the envelope so he can read it.

 

When Professor Lockhart is knocked backwards by Professor Snape's charm during their duel in the Chamber of Secrets, his wand can be seen flying through the air - when he lands, however, the wand is back in his hand.

 

When Harry and Ron are in the Whomping Willow tree in the Chamber of Secrets, one of the branches punches a dent in the roof of the car, but when the car drives away the dent is gone.

 

When Snape leans over to pick Draco up after he has been thrown through the air by Harry's spell in the duelling scene in the Chamber of Secrets, a crew member in blue jeans can be seen kneeling on the far left.

 

When Harry is flipping through his photo album at the very beginning of the Chamber of Secrets, he views a picture of himself, Ron, and Hermione that should've been taken during the last school year, however, it's clearly a recent photograph.

 

When Harry is bowing to Buckbeak in the pumpkin patch near the end of the Prisoner of Azkaban, you can see the bulge of his microphone battery pack under the back of his sweatshirt.

 

When Harry blows up his aunt in the Prisoner of Azkaban, you can see the cables that she is attached to.

 

 

As Harry and the others run up the stairs to the Fat Lady picture for the first time in the Prisoner of Azkaban, you can see the markers on the floor where characters have to stop for focus/lighting reasons.

 

The length of the chain used for Hermione's Time Turner in the Prisoner of Azkaban varies throughout the film.

 

 

During the boggart scene in the Prisoner of Azkaban you can see that Daniel Radcliffe's stand-in is standing in line and not him.

 

 

In the Prisoner of Azkaban when Harry (hiding under the Invisibility Cloak) is attacking Malfoy in Hogsmeade, he leaves no footprints behind in the snow - in all other Hogsmeade scenes, Harry leaves footprints in the snow.

 

When Neville tries to open his Monster Book of Monsters and gets attacked by it in the Prisoner of Azkaban you can see that a large amount of the paper supposedly shooting out of the book is coming from nowhere near the book.

 

In many scenes in the Prisoner of Azkaban Harry's scar is on the left, then the right and sometimes there is no scar at all.

 

 

In the second task in the Goblet of Fire, Karkaroff can be seen mouthing the words that Dumbledore is saying.

 

 

When Seamus tells Dean to get more towels for Harry when he gets out of the lake in the Goblet of Fire, Dean runs off, but in the next shot, Dean is still right next to Harry.

 

In the Goblet of Fire, during the scenes in which Barty Crouch Sr. is explaining the rules of entering the Tournament there are a few shots where you can see Alan Rickman's stand-in/double is being used.

 

When Rita Skeeter is about to interview the four champions in the Goblet of Fire, she lightly touches Fleur Delacour's face, who then winces ahead of the slap that Rita gives her.

 

When spying on Neville practicing for the Yule Ball in the Goblet of Fire, Harry and Ron's hair is significantly shorter than in the following scene.

 

 

When Harry is talking to Sirius through the fire in the Goblet of Fire, the light effects on Harry's face should be flickering because of the fire, but instead the light effects are steady.

 

 

When Snape is threatening to use Veritaserum on Harry in the Goblet of Fire, he states that three drops are sufficient enough to make a wizard as powerful as Voldemort "spill his darkest secrets". But when he administers the serum to Barty Crouch Jr, he uses the entire bottle.

 

After Cedric Diggory's body is brought back from the graveyard in the Goblet of Fire, the camera shows his face and he blinks.
