Today Wednesday the 13th August 2008 exactly 1 yr from the date we lost our beautiful girls. We as a family found out the boy who killed them by driving dangerously, speeding and overtaking on a country road which is a 40mph speed limit, has walked FREE!!! He can carry on with his life while Jacqui & Danielles families have to try to make some sense of this terribly unfair decision. Where is the justice in this decision???
If you ride your motorbike at over 130mph but don't hurt anybody you get jailed for 15 months, if you see a young girl punched in the face by a foreigner and you retaliate by kicking that foreigner, you go to jail. So how can someone drive dangerously and wipe out half of a loving family get away with nothing? Not even a ban from driving, fine or even points on their licence!!!
How does he live with himself!!!
I hope this boy feels guilty and it eats away at him for the rest of his life. Because I see my family suffering every day from the pain of losing Jacqui & Danielle. We miss them so much.
As for his families statement about offering their sympathy to our families, that means absolutely nothing!!! How would they feel if someone wiped out some of their family members and then carried on with their lives like nothing had ever happened. Justice needed to be done!!!
